Entry: Today’s work was concentrated behind the northern wall of building 98. I was excavating small unit 17285 which is within the S-N wall (U.17269). It represents a piece of mud brick positioned most eastern of the wall we just recognized after the general brushing of the trench at the end of the day. As it was the last day of working week we had a trench tour where we presented our overview of the work in individual parts of the Trench 5. Rest of the excavation day was concentrated on floor brushing of B. 98 and its preparation for 3D photo. It is worth to be asserted that another animal figurine was found in building 105, where EUR is working in his harem:-)

Today I continued with work on figurines in finds lab. As it is usually, gathering figurines together is complex, so I have to deal with couple of issues with Lisa. Some of the figurines are missing in the boxes and some new appear which are not within the West Mound Figurines List (but are belonging to this part of the site). There is still one box to be checked and finally to have all available figurines in front of me. Large number of artifacts I can not considered as figurines as they are small parts of clay which can not be associated with human, animal or stylistic body with high percentage of certainty. In the following days I should define with Peter if we will consider these figurines into our data base.
