Entry: The clearance of the western wall continues, particularly on the unit 17290. The bottom level of compact soil was today’s goal so we had new insight after its removal. This level was much different from any of those above. It had different type of fill consisted of more clayish soil and much reduced inclusions of cultural material (mainly pottery, bones and obsidian). As it is the lowest level the intention was to find the connection between the floor of building 98 and its western wall. Therefore I reached the floor bellow the plastered wall and there was no direct connection between these two room segments. The floor was continuing bellow the wall and several pot shards were put there, probably to level the floor, or as JHB suggest, they are there as result of putting the interior garbage aside to the house corners. Anyway it was good to notice the building techniques used for defining the house wall on each side. Also it is worth to note that the western buttress was built along with the wall as there are confirming joint parts supporting such hypothesis.

The work on figurines also continues and I will be probably working in botany laboratory as there is more space to put figurines on larger surface in order to have a better typological and spatial perspective. There are few more figurines necessary to complete the total number of modeled objects representing human and animal body.
