| Entry: | I have spent the last week drawing the east and south walls of shrines 8 and 10 so nothing much to write about in the first week. Today has been a beautiful blazing hot day with a clear view of the snow-capped mountains. I have started to take out the fill (4190) of space 159. I t is fairly dull fill although it contains quite a few whole clay balls. These are characterfully not quite round which gives a real sense of them being made by human hands. Anyway, I am taking out the fill in order to release the walls of spaces 159 and 160 and then this area will probably be left for the season. The space is full of animal holes which I keep sinking into as I dig.Entered By: Lucy Hawkes |
