30.06.13.
In the beginning of work today we scraped away small remains left from last year of the floor plaster on platform F3507, in order to try to see how it relates stratigraphically to the wall plastering of wall F 3505. We removed 2 liters of floor plaster. The make-up layer that is underneath slopes slightly towards the wall (depressed by the wall?) and also seems to go under it. Therefore the next thing to do will be to plan and then start to remove this wall plaster (u.20801).
The further work in B.96, however, was postponed most of the day because we did not have grid points, which we needed to draw the plans.
It was suggested by Ian Hodder that the conservation team should spend one more day to reveal a larger area of the paint on the eastern wall, as what is visible so far might be brick-like patterns.
