Excavation Diary Entry

Entry: Today we removed more of the burial infill (20295) and exposed the skeleton. Interesting, and uncommon apparenty, was that we found a different mandible in the infill above the feet of the skeleton. Tomorrow the HRT will remove the skeleton.

In the SW corner of postneolithic mess, I removed two walls consisting of approx. three bricks each. They seem to be very similar to F.3948 in Trench 3, TPC. However, where one had very clear and 4 cm thick mortar (F.3967), the other one lacked it (3966). The previous thought was that the hellenistic pit cut was earlier than everything in the area exept the roman walls, however, there is a light beige feature that clearly is cut by the hellenistic pit.

I now have 6 unit sheets floating, especially cut sheets waiting to be filled out
