| Entry: | Today we finally removed the Roman (?) wallparts in the SW corner of trench 2 TPC. Underneath a medium thin layer, maybe a levelling layer for the wall, we hit midden. Before that we could establish a midden like section in the cut of the hellenistic pit (F. 3970). They are probably the same. However, before we can draw that conclusion, we need to remove a strange unit (20273), coating the cut of the pit. When I was working with the running matrix of the corner, it became clear that this actually could be a part of the function of the pit, i.e. the clay coating. |
