Entry: What we initially suspected TO BE another Islamic burial, turned out NOT TO BE, allthough some cranium fragments and teeth were found close to the southern trench edge. (Far fetched Shakespearian pun intended).

However, I was able to follow a clearly distinct cut truncating a roman wallfragment (allready cut by an Islamic burial). That is by the way the reason for our initial suspicion of it being a burial. Well, that and the allignment of the cut. However it turned out to be too short and too wide, and of course no skeleton (yet). Instead I exposed a series of stones, where one was a 30 by 20 by 7 cm white chalk encrusted (or gypsum) stone. And in the eastern part there was a clearly burned surface with alot of charcoal. Prababy a hearth of somekind, though probably not neolithic (but that can't be determined quite yet).
