Excavation Diary Entry

Entry: As a former collegue of mine always used to say: "When in doubt, dig deeper!"
Today we finally exposed the rest of the neolithic wall in TPC 2 - the connection towards south is coming along nicely. However, because of allignment and placement, the wall seems to belong to an earlier building, compared to B.110, but that is not yet fully determinable.

The wall in itself is plastered white, revealing that we are just above the interior of a building in TPC2. The activity above this building has turned out to be quite amazing(ly complicated). Small cuts through a bit bigger cuts through huge cuts, all containing late stuff.

And in the SE corner, the link (Sp. 506) between neolithic and post neolithic, work is progressing as it should. Today we removed a charcoal cluster and a make-up layer - fortunately bordering very nicely to an underlying midden (OK, that's the best case scenario, we'll find out the truth tomorrow).
