Entry: After my arrival from Macedonia I continued the work on the installation (unit 31126). The remaining fill and dirt on particular areas of the installation were cleared, so its outlines were much more apparent than before. It could be easily seen that entire construction was built above the floor 16977 with small remains of replastering used for modeling the rim of the installation. The interior was also cleared so it showed it quadrangular shape, but also the different color than the silty white plaster which means it was built onto the floor 16977 without plastering the bottom part of the interior. The platform on the southern part (next to south wall 5056) of the installation was also examined in detail, so it appeared bigger than in the first days of the unit excavation. On its western part there is remain of thin small wall which was probably the ending border of the platform and the installation in general. Here it can be also seen that this construction was built onto the floor 16977.

After several discussions with JMR and PFB on the possible function of the installation couples of ideas were proposed. During the excavation process it was thought that this installation is actually a bin where the grains were stored. But after its entire clearing it was understood that the height of the rim was not large and that the southern platform is bigger. Therefore a new possible function was proposed that the construction was not a storage area, but a place where something was prepared. The samples sent to the flotation will show what kind of material was left there and give further information of the possible function of the installation.
