Entry: Today I removed the plaster 31142 that was remaining on the hill's slope. Under it was the fill 31175, sometimes very thick and sometimes unexistent, that looks quite disturbed to me, mayb mimit hole or crack in the plaster. This showed me that the plaster 31174 that is under it does slope up until ca. 3cm before the wall F5058, where the connection is broken and only brown earth follows. I then proceeded to remove the part of plaster 31174 that is sloping down and stopped at the surface angle. The plaster was very thick, up to 3,5cm, but with an irregular surface. This shows us under it a construction/fill (?) of dark brown earth, we will hopefully take care of it tomorrow. I then started to remove the parts on the surface that are still above 31174, 31142 having been removed last sunday. (We are here always stopping at the west-east section). It is however a bit unclear where 31174 is present on the surface. We have in fact a very nice top view of concentric circles (center beigish, then white, orange, ashy and white). This does probably indicate concentrically sloping down layers towards a central point, around the middle of the section probably. Sunken floors? Basin-like structure? They all got a new set of units and i started removing the beigish layer 31180, that is directly under the now-gone 31142. This reveals us a steeply sloping white layer with some red dust remains on it. Is it 31174? We will see tomorrow how the connection looks like.
