Entry: Like yesterday I have been working on unit 31207. After revealing some of the wall plaster, and recording four x finds, I changed my focus temporally on the neighbor unit 31199. Due to the fact that the connection between space 310 and 454 is still not clarified, an arbitrary sondage was cut into the southeastern wall (S-N direction). It was flattened on the same level as unit 31199 (northeastern part). After digging about 15 cm to the southwest, a vertical line of white plaster occurred. That is why NMR and me tried to follow the line further west, to see how far it goes and how it is connected. As one result the previous sondage partly broke white lines at both borders (of the sondage area) in SN direction. After the cleaning of the unit, a photo was taken. In the following step I started to deepen the sondage from the south to the north to find the outlines of the structures in between. It might be a buttress (F. 3302) or a wall. Some line of withe plaster at the very southeast corner of unit 31207 indicates that the wall of unit 31199 was built later than this wall. Due to the shortage of space, NMR continued my work and I started the sondage from the opposite site (space 310, unit 31207). A special find from this area was a broken animal head (sheep or goat) in the southeast corner of unit 31207 (x 20). The last special find of the day was a pierced bead from the sieve (X 21).
