Entry: I've been continuing with burial 7508 as it's now called. The skeleton is positioned on its back, with the knees almost below the jaw. Teeth from the upper row was found approx 20 cm below the cranium. Scott, from human remains, did a 3D-model of the exposed parts so far - this made it possible to continue excavate. The curious thing with this burial was the positioning of the cranium. It wasn't situated in articulation with the uppermost vertebrea and it almost seemed to have been removed and later replaced. The partial cut into the wall just north of the burial could maybe be a result of this event. My thought is that the first burial procedure actually respected the wall, and the retrieval and replacement if the cranium resulted in the cut. However the cut also seems to allign with the extent of the burial, even though cut is invisible.

The mandible as mentioned had tumbled down towards the south and landed upside down ca 20-25 cm from the cranium. This is corresponds quite good with where the spine is situated but as said the cranium seemed to have been shifted towards the north. At this stage it's still not decided if we're dealing with one or several individuals.
