| Entry: | Yesterday was very hectic. Plenty visitors and people from the World bank and visa people were main focus and in addition to that BBC film crew was on the side in the afternoon, they were filming the site and the skeleton 4593. Peter and I filmed as we were uncovering the skeleton. Today was more easy going day. Peter and I continued digging the skeleton 4593. The wooden plank was removed and sampled 2 days ago. I did my first conservation experience on a piece of wood which was quite successful. As we were cleaning up more of the skeleton we found that there was no skull, the atlas and axis are in the right anatomical position. The right arm is across the body and the hand is holding the lower part of the left arm. The left hand is placed on the pelvic area. The skeleton will be planned and photographed, and hopefully lifted tomorrow.Entered By: Basak Boz |
