| Entry: | In the past weeks I have excavated a building (B128), revealed an external space (Sp. 530) roughly contemporary with B102 and B3, and started work on B.102. It is now time to contemplate - where am I and what am I doing and what have I done so far? This far into the season it is usually a big mess inside my brain, but I actually feel a bit calm (for now that is). I think it was a very good thing to have one day before the last week to finish up backlogs and database entry, and to figure out a strategy for the last days. Now, that I am back in B.102, and working together with Kevin, it will start to get really confusing. B.102 is full of things, it is full of bins, the cooking area is in the south in the east room, there are baby burials here and there. We have worked there two almost three days, and so far 4 features that we are actively excavating. And also here we are occupied with walls - we are trying to find the connection to sp 530, B.112 and B119 in the SW corner, which I think we will before the season is ending. But we will see. |
