| Entry: | We have started our work on connecting the two trenches TPC3 and 4. The first days of work have been used for studiyng the earlier excavations in these trenches, but also to try to remember all the procedures in Catal; How to write a tag, how to take a sample and how to draw on the tablet? Today we excavated a top soil layer from the existing profile bench between TPC3 and 4. To my help I have two students; Tom and Elisabeth. We hacked and hacked and it accually gave us some results. For now we think we unovered the continuation of wall F3933 and also, perhaps an other wall; F7260. Tomorrow we will hopefully get some claryfication on this. Since TPC have their own total station I think we have a unique possibility to speed up our documentation process and I hope that this season I will have the opportunity to learn and develop some skills on digital dokumentation. |
