| Entry: | Today, the team working on TPC examined some of the walls in Trench 3. I scratched away the first few centimetres of part of features 7176, 7171, and 3952 in order to see what was underneath. Having been cleaned, it is evident that the layer underneath appears to contain large, rectangular mud bricks. There also appears to be a plastered wall that may correlate with a building close by. An OrthoPhoto was then taken of Trench 3, and a total station was used in order to take the coordinates and levels for this area. This has been done with the aim to removing feature 7176 tomorrow, to better make sense of the walls in Trench 3. |
