| Entry: | Today at TPC Trench 3 we completed the excavation f7486. a mudbrick wall. This was a somewhat hurried excavation, as JMR and I will no longer be excavating this season but, of course, wanted to finish the excavation of this feature. The bricks appear to be quite large, and the wall itself has a somewhat irregular surface. Unfortunately, we did discover that this wall is older than another next to it (f7176), and are now somewhat out of phase. Nevertheless, we are better able to distinguish the stratigraphy in this area, which is an important step in excavating this particular Trench. |
