| Entry: | Note: in space 173/163 the crawl-hole I originally numbered as F.487 has been renumbered as F.500 as I took out an existing number.
Took down wall at the north end of space 173. ( F.483 ) to about 0.20m above floor
level, after first removing wall plaster (4453) to this level. Started to take down wall F.448, however
only managed to remove a couple of courses at the top and the most eroded material of the face before it was decided to leave the remainder in situ to brace against. The wall behind F.448, i.e. the one immediately to the north, has a plaster face, ( wall below 406?).
