Today we almost finished the work on the walls 503 and 497. We have removed several different types of fill and collapsed material and reached the Northern edge of the wall 497. It is understood that the Wall F.497 was collapsed on the northern half and vertically and the midden has been covered that broken half of the wall in North. And after that in some period, people continued to use this area as midden/rubbish area as it was before. But it became higher than the wall 497 and its broken edge. Thus people made a simple wall (F.503) on top of those fills to keep the midden away from the Southern buildings. It was a "stepping wall" couse it ‘s been built according to the slope.

I drew the wall 497. And helped to cleaning Building 23 in Space 178.
