Entry: | The time fly. There are always things to do which is very good, no time to get bored. We just started to paint out side of the chicken shed for our summer bar where we will have opening party soon. Garden is looking great and producing lots of rockets and spinach, the rest are growing fast. I just wanted to mention these things so it doesn’t sound like everything is related with work and we don’t do anything else. It is almost three months and new people will starting to come soon. The site is very quite at the moment. 7 people are away. We had the Konya television crew today, they filmed the museum and the site. On the work front, I have been cleaning the skull of skeleton 4615. This is the most complete and well preserved skull so far. If I can manage to put it together John will do the reconstruction of it. This burial which is B513 came from the east part of space163. Crouched adult female. The most striking thing about this burial was the amount of micro faunal remains. The whole burial covered with yellow deposit (owl pallet?) contains semi-articulated micro-mammal bones. It is so obvious that these were placed into the grave intentionally but I can’t give a reasonable answer to this yet. The work on this skeleton still continuing as well as the B492.Entered By: Basak Boz |
