Entry: | Today I planned and removed fill 4793 in bin 488 revealing the eastern most plastered edge of the bin. The southern side is plastered and curves around to meet wall 484. The plaster continues part of the way along the wall. Wall 484 looks like it is being used as an edge of the bin. On the eastern side of the bin under fill 4793 are several uneven and wavy layers of plaster which may be the base of the bin. These are overlapped to the south west by a thick layer of fill which in turn is overlaid by a large concentration of plaster which is likely to be more infill although at first I thought that it was part of the structure. Further excavation of this fill tomorrow should make the western part of bin 488 much clearer.Entered By: Lucy Hawkes |
