Entry: | Co-author: Constantinos Koutsadelis Today we (Constantinos and Beliz) completed the plan of the post retrival pit ( U. 10808) and we started excavating the fill (U. 1012) of the adjustant (what is supposingly a) cut (U. 10811). While excavating this cut (U.10808) we found some bones and a couple of human teeth. Although the cut was clear in section we could not define its edges in plan. During its excavation we decided to define the edges of the cut as soon as we ran into diffirent filling to the homogenous filling that we had begun to excavate. We couldn't define any different material, and decided to continue excavating untill we found limits to the cut, just as we were saying this, we found a human bone possibly related to one of the burials that are visible through the section of space 112, while excavating deeper into the cut. At this point we decided to stop excavating, as it was also the end of the work day and decided to report this human bone (still in-situ) to the bone lab.
Within the northern space of 112, the area between the internal wall and the nortern wall, Bleda excavated (U.10810). This unit, defined as an arbitary layer, of grey-beige and light brown colour. This unit represented the truncated remnants of bits of floor and features as left by the 1960's excavations. Bleda could not recognise any clear floor or features apart from the two truncated niche features and the remnants of a platform. Draw in (004/901). Finds include: clay ball and a bone fish hook. We may give this northern area of space 112 a new space number if the dividing wall F.1701 continues below.
