Entry: | Assigned space numbers to the rooms and took a spit off 230,the smaller of the two rooms which it has been decided that we should inverstigate in more detail. This revealed an empty set of walls, without any trace of floors left, and another set of wall on which the later ones were misaligned. A skeleton was found by Rahmat between the two spaces which accounts for a gap in the dividing wall. This is now being excavated by Maren. We have started to look in detail at space 229, and it looks as though there are indeed decayed floor surfaces in the southern part , and even a solitary brick in the centre of the area. The northern part of the space appears to have at least another 0.5m depth of plastered wall surface .Entered By: Emma Twigger |
