| Entry: | Anticipated an obsidian cluster today but didn't get to excavate it as I realised that it's lying under a plaster re-facing of the bench F.1310, (noticed also that there is a still later re-facing on the north side of the bench surviving at the east end). These clusters of (mainly) obsidian are deposited immediately after the construction phase of the platforms - there's another one on the south side of the bench.
Left that for today and excavated units on the north side of the platform to get back in phase with platform F.1321 to the north. Took off the two 'moulding' units on the walls and released the remnants of the units that had been left when some units on platform F.1321 were excavated out of sequence.Entered By: Richard Turnbull |
