Entry: Moving along swiftly from my last dairy entry we have been taking out the last features of building 56 namely the construction make up of the floors and platforms. From platform F. 2055 this was 12872, from platform F. 2057 and bench F. 2056 12874 and from platform F. 2074 12879. While removing the last mortar surfaces from platform F. 2059 we identified a cut which has a burial or burials beneath. The burial itself is crouched and Candemir spotted some phytoliths that suggest the burial was bound. The burial appears to going into the section beyond the identified cut edge, which i never like and it may be that there are two burials, one under the still present mortar surface of the platform. Anyway we will see. One of the make up layers 12872 contained a cluster of working debitage from obsidian knapping 12873. After the removal of the burials the last vestiges of the northern platforms need removing and then we will be onto the walls, which need stripped of plaster drawn and removed. The next building is begining to show up in part and seems slightly smaller than buidling 56 although their appears to be a crawl hole at the north west as their is a slight wall with a plaster face on both sides. The big section to the west suggests the lower building may have an extra room at the west and perhaps the crawl hole is a way in. We shall see.Entered By: RR
