I started taking out some midden in the large open area in 4040.
Two upper layers are already fully removed: 12648 and 12653. The first one ocntained a large number of figurines. The third layer of mdden 12652, which is below the two others is also covering the walls of space 180 and goes inside it.
This midden layers were probably produced by the inhabitants of the building excavated last year by Ulrike since that seems to be later than others, being bilt on some of the earlier midden deposits.
It's f. impossible to follow the f. lenses of midden but this seems to be the wider, general stratigraphy there:
space 180 (with lower midden possibly associated)
space 180 gets demolished
ulrike's building gets constructed and produces the midden that coveres walls of S 180.
