| Entry: | I started excavating B51 today. I emptied the niche 1477 in the east wall. It contained two fills 12659 and 12660. The second one was deposited on the bottom of the niche only at the exterior. It could have had a retaining role.
I also emptied the post retrieving pit F. 1576. The fill no is 12662 and the cut is 12663.
Tomorrow I'll strt removing floors and hearth.
The niche is plastered all around and there are traces of red paint on it. Probably not on the latest plaster surface but on the eralier one. In the section of the post retrieving two red paint layers can be seen. Maybe we'll find that the platform was paited too.Entered By: Doru Bogdan |
