| Entry: | Its been a hard last couple of days and its getting hotter under the shelter. We have removed most of the western and northern walls of building 56, F. 2068 F. 2067 F. 2073 F. 2066 F. 2065 and F. 1342, although I now think that the eastern wall lies within a cut at the south of its extent and still needs removing. Candimer has been concentrating on the narrow strip of archaeology between building 56 and Mellaarts section. This of course has thrown up some problems, a few more than we hoped in that there appears to be a sequence of walls in this area that possibly relate to western buildings now gone. These look like foundation walls that cut the underlying sequences, all a bit confusing at the moment, oh and he also has a bin. Anyway more recording than we wanted, but why would this area be blank when we know stuff is everywhere!Entered By: RR |
