This burial was cleaned and most of the skeleton has been exposed. The cleaning is not finished jet.
Unit 2224
We started scraping of the area of space 89 in order to draw it in detail. It was very difficult to establish the West wall of the space among other things because of disturbance by a large burial cut (Feature 151). Also, there are many traces of animal activity. The E-wall is difficult to follow since it continues under the sucks that are put in the base of the shelter. Despite the difficulties we were able to locate double walls on all sides of space 89. Almost all the bricks seem to be made of very sendy clay and from on top they look different from the clay used for bricks in the walls of space 86. The bricks in the burned area of space 89 are not visible jet since they are covered with layer of burned deposits in the middle of which there is a bukranion.
