Entry:

A Neolithic infant burial (F2227) has been excavated from the northern area of space 278, under platform F2225. The individual was approximately six months old and was in a crouched position. The burial did not contain any grave goods.

Directly to the north a second multiple burial cut platform F2225 from the same level. Excavation of this feature is ongoing (by LDH) however it is known to contain the disarticulated remains of at least two individuals as well as three crouched articulated skeletons. Further disarticulated bone in the base of the feature appears to belong to an earlier burial. The upper fill of this burial contained a b one pin and a single bead.

Once this second burial is fully excavated the final few features in building 59 will be excavated to reveal the southern extent of building 60.Entered By: DE
