| Entry: | The S area of building 52 is now better understood after cleaning and limited excavation. The S extent of building 52 is defined by walls F1486 and 2016 (this could be a single wall but looked like two sepearate walls to me). A small room in the SW corner of B52 was recorded as space 290.
A later revetting wall F 2011, 1489 and 1490 may have been intended to keep the middin away from the building. This wall created a narrow external space 291. Spaces 290 and 291 replace space 254 which is now void.Entered By: DE |
