Entry: | Work has been progressing better the last couple of days as we have been removing room fill (13168) in space 286 and a layer of wall demolition material (13160) to the south of space 286. The removal of this layer revealled that there was a southern room (space 303) to Building 64 below the level of the truncation of the late building foundation trench. This a small, trapezoidal room that appears to have been acessed or at least connected to space 287 by a crawlhole. Crawlhtole was initially thought to be a niche F.2239 and had been left unexcavated but it is now clear that it is a small access hole in building 64. Stratigraphically there is now a like between the area where I have been working and the area where Richard is and the pit that he had been removing is later than building 64.Entered By: LY |
