| Entry: | Last day starting work at 6, tomorow we're forced to start at 7!
Today we tried to finish brushing the estern half of Area 5, but we didn´t finished this till Lunch. In the North a huge pit (13710) was cleaned by Nejat and will be excavated tomorrow. We finished cleaning the small cist in the southern quarter and olso the surrounding, so it can be taken out tomorrow. Close to this cist we recognized a small oval pit (13708), close to this there is a unclear section of greyish mudbricks and plaster, which must be cleaned tomorrow carefully.
The work on the skeleton (13705) in the south is still in progress, today the upper part of the skeleton was undiscovered, but there is no clear gravestructure.
I hope we will finish cleaning this section, cause it might get interesting to dig deeper and reach the first layers of archaeological importance.Entered By: CS |
