late roman - byzantine burial; recognized as such because of the wood and soils from the coffin. Juvenile. The grave is cut through the brick floor and it is not associated with anything in the area. The coffin was not given a unit number because it was poorly preserved (only in the western part of the cut; by the skeleton's head).
5.7.04 on two other burials with wood coffins were identified north and respectively NW from 1550. Not excavated yet. |
