The feature is a neolithic fetal burial. The skeleton was lying on its left side with the torso and some of the arms intact. The legs and pelvis were missing. The burial fill and the cut were difficult to determine and so it was hard to tell whether the burial had been cut from above or was placed in the corner of the building with the roomfill.
The cut and fill were difficult to determine but numbers were taken for the matrix. All the burial fill was taken for flotation. |
