Central-North platform of building 97. Exposed and truncated during the Mellart exavation. It's association with the north wall is lost. The original height and surface of the platform is lost. The southern edge of the platform is visible by the line of cut plaster in the floor. Animal burrows criss-cross the platform. Platform was sealed by Mellart backfill, presumably fom a neighboring building 77?
To the east the platform rises gently onto the northeast platform. To the west the platform rises c.10m onto the northwest platform. |
