This hearth was clearly exposed and visible after removal of a post depositional layer. It contained black pine, a type of wood used in the post-neotlithic, a rare kind of wood. In the flotation a small earring made from electrum (a gold alloy) was found, giving an indication of date to the byzantine period. |
