F. 7195 represents an extremely poorly preserved and damaged floor in space 517. It lips up against wall f. 7183, but clearly postdates wall f. 7183 as the plaster of this wall continues below the makeup of floor f.7195. It also lips up to wall f. 7194, but again digging this floor revealed that the wall continues below the level of f.7195. The makeup of this floor was quite think, and consisted almost entirely of redeposited Neolithic mud-brick material. It is lying immediately on top of another badly damaged-- but less badly damaged!-- floor, f. 7257. |
