Burial of adult individual. It is in supine and extended position with head facing west. Skeleton was poorly preserved. The burial cut is clearly distinguishable and it's infill contains a number of small pieces of mud-bricks. This may indicate a kind of burial marker. This burial is cut directly into earlier burial pit (feature 915) and the skeleton was deposited almost directly above on earlier one. It is also located on the southern side of mud-brick wall (unit 6907). That was purposefully built to mark earlier burial. |
