This is a northern wall of the northern storage building/room located in NW corner of the trench. It separates this structure from the production section of Late Hellenistic/Early Roman settlement. The wall was considerably destroyed by later intrusions and thus its original shape cannot be reconstructed. It appears to have been constructed of two lines of mudbricks of which the northern one was being constantly exposed to high temperature from the pottery production sector. As a result the bricks are considerably burnt. Basal boundary of the feature was unable to discern with a reliable certainty. |
