Additional Phase Info: The “?” indicates that it is not part of the direct stratigraphic Hodder sequence. As a result its relationship in the Hodder phasing is determined by a series of abuttments and by taking into account its location in the Mellaart levels. Sp.160 was only partially excavated up to the LOE (limit of excavation) with the majority of the building underlying the defined but not yet excavated Sp.365. It was constructed by cutting into (truncating) Sp.159 of B.24. Prior to the introduction of the Hodder phases Sp.160 had been allocated to Mellaart Level VIB but Mellaart levels of buildings/spaces NOT excavated in the 1960s have been removed to allow an independent assessment on phasing. NB/Work in progress. Correct as of date entered or modified.
