The spine has been derived by direct stratigraphic relations as far as possible but does include some abutting relationships. Space 199 overlies Sp.181 and underlies Sp.198. Mellaart Level for reference only. Prior to the introduction of the Hodder phases Sp.199 had been allocated to Mellaart Level XII.
