Additional Phase Info: Southern group of related buildings based on combination of stratigraphy (abutting relationships) and lithics assemblage dominated by Nenezi dag pressure flaked blades Heavily eroded at the surface of the mound, Sp.228 of B.45 is exposed to its latest occupation horizon and NFE (not further excavated) Prior to the introduction of the Hodder phases Sp.228 of B.45 had been allocated to Mellaart Level V -IV very crudely based on comparison of the material assemblage but Mellaart levels of buildings/spaces NOT excavated in the 1960s have been removed to allow an independent assessment on phasing. NB/Work in progress. Correct as of date entered or modified. 

Description:
Main room in building 45. Eastern side of space heavily truncated and poorly defined in places. Underlying middin deposit visible in NE corner. This underlying deposit is probibly responsible for the extensive slumping occuring across the space. SE corner heavily truncated by later cut features. There are extensive animal burrows across the space. Contains a number of arcitectual features including platforms (F. 1408, 1409, 1410, 1411) an oven (F.1415) an engaged pillastar (F1424) and a free standing pillar (F. 1417).
