Additional Phase Info: Heavily eroded at the surface of the mound, Sp.233 of B.46 lies over B.48. Prior to the introduction of the Hodder phases Sp.233 of B.46 had been allocated to Mellaart Level VI - V very crudely based on comparison of the material assemblage but Mellaart levels of buildings/spaces NOT excavated in the 1960s have been removed to allow an independent assessment on phasing. NB/Work in progress. Correct as of date entered or modified.

Description:
Building 46 consisted of space 233 and was defined by mudbrick walls F.1800, F.1801 and F.1802. The northern wall of Building 46 was entirely eroded away, and the northern extent of the structure therefore could not be established. The walls survived of only 2 or 3 courses of mudbrick and were up to 0.30m high.
