Prior to the introduction of the Hodder phases Sp.286 of B.64 had been allocated to Mellaart Level V-IV very crudely based on comparison of the material assemblage
but
Mellaart levels of buildings/spaces NOT excavated in the 1960s have been removed to allow an independent assessment on phasing.

Description:
Area of building 64 lying outside of spaces 287 and 288, and mostly truncated away by pits to the soutth. It would have been the mainspace in Building 64, the oven may have been lost due to the later pitting truncating much of the space (LY).
