Area: North
Within Building Number: 60
Phasing:
Mellaart Level: Unassigned at present
Hodder Level: North.H
Additional Phase Info: Southern group of related buildings based on combination of stratigraphy (abutting relationships) and lithics assemblage dominated by Nenezi dag pressure flaked blades
Heavily eroded at the surface of the mound, Sp.361 of B.60 lies over B.59.
Prior to the introduction of the Hodder phases Sp.278 of B.60 had been allocated to Mellaart Level VI - V very crudely based on comparison of the material assemblage
but
Mellaart levels of buildings/spaces NOT excavated in the 1960s have been removed to allow an independent assessment on phasing.

Description:
This space is located to the west of an internal dividing wall F.2369, which forms the boundary between spaces 361 & 278, this spatial division is a reflection of the earlier building 59 below. The space has a layer of makeup (13469) which is also located in space 278 and then two floor deposits (13486) and (13484) as well as wall plaster 13485.
Only a small portion of this space survives due to heavy erosion truncation 1.95m N-S x 1.09m E-W
The space mostlikly functioned as a side storage or food preperation area (as it did in B.59 below)
