Description:
This is a space designated to an Early Islamic activity (garbage disposal, storage?), that preceded construction of graves with mudbrick markers. The only feature in this space is a large pit in W part of Trench 4. It is very big, circular and islamic in date as indicated by late, green glazed islamic pottery. The pit 7378 truncated Neolithic depostis, and hellenistic pits. Itself was only truncated by an early Islamic grave 7350.
