Discussion: Fill of grave cut(byzantine), skeleton was not present . A CBM slab, probably part of a tile had been set up on end in the base of the cut where the head of the body would have been. Given that the byzantine burials either side of this grave survived it is suggested that the body was never put into the grave. X2 was found in three pieces that had been broken before being put into the grave
