Unit 10284
Category: layer dug in 2005
Area: North
Interpretive Categories: house fill,Pit fill
Data Category Information: Location: building; Deposition: heterogeneous
Discussion: I am looking for the floor by tracing plaster wall edge + working down. The fill in N part of the unit is full of large charcoal pieces (more than 1cm) that will be in the flotation sample. Also a few large (5cm) pieces of burned clay. The southern half of the fill is looser, finer and much more sterile except for some big stones. 8 cm below southern mini-wall is a "bench" of plaster.
Protruding 6cm towards north- maybe platform at 10cm depth the wall plaster is still going down so I started to pick carefully.
At 20cm depth reach floor in NE+SE corner. Much of the rest of the unit is taken up with cluster of antle, stone etc. Maybe the barley cake should maybe in this too. Cluster is desgined unit 10292 -maybe pit dug throuh floor in unit 10284
10284 had plaster wall boundary on N,E, +S and little "wall" on W side.
