Unit 10292
Category: Cluster dug in 2005
Area: North
Interpretive Categories: Cluster,Fill
Data Category Information: Location: building; Material: animal bone; Deposition: primary deposition; Basal Spit: obsidian, stone
Discussion: The cluster was recognised during the excavtion of unit 10284. The cluster of antler (tool?), round pebble and other stone fragments lie at the same level as the floor under 10284 but is a very different matrix. Much burned material (As in 10284), bones. It looks as though it may be a pit cut through the floor of this space. At present the west boundary is in line with the little N-S wall but needs to be extended west to the main wall. The ' Barley cake' assigned to 10284 may also be part of 10292.
Antler=43cm long. Stone possible grinder to its east. Obsidian blade under antler. Antler is burned. Obsidian is under lying lenghtwise.
